Writing is a key aspect of literacy capabilities. This survey breaks writing down into key components and enables a school to analyse pupils' attitudes towards, and enjoyment and understanding of, punctuation, handwriting, fiction and non-fiction. It also evaluates the ways in which the writing experiences and the writing environment have an effect upon these things.
