These surveys focus on the learning and teaching within the school.

Our surveys come in 2 parts:

  • Teachers provide their views on their own teaching and resultant learning through a self-review survey
  • Learning and Teaching leaders provide their views on the teaching and resultant learning across the school or department


The self-review survey has unique descriptors with which the teacher can review themselves against creating a "standardised" self assessment - invaluable for holistic internal comparison.

They give you clear feedback and benchmarks on critical issues including subject knowledge and planning, quality of learning and the learning environment.

Surveys are normally given to all senior staff plus teachers.

You will receive a comprehensive statistical analysis report and can choose to have a senior consultant write a written report.

Our surveys will provide you with:

  • Summary by performance area and role of survey particpant
  • Separation of self review results from leadership views to enable comparison
  • 20 pages of graphical and tabular information
  • An optional consultant's report produced by an experienced education consultant


The review of L&T by L&T leaders provides an overview of staff attitudes in the following areas:

  • Monitoring Systems
  • Subject Knowledge, Planning and Preparation
  • Motivation, Class and Behaviour Management
  • Pedagogy
  • Assessment of/for Learning
  • Management of Resources, Human and Material
  • Quality of Learning (Impact)
