Cocentra have worked with the City of Nottingham since early concept stage of the LA's capital build programmes. Nottingham is a Wave 2 and Wave 5 BSF Authority, a Primary Pilot Authority and has been rolling out a successful Primary Capital Programme for the last 12 months. The Director of ICT Services at Cocentra, Rob Woon, was previously ICT Lead for the Authority before joining Cocentra and continuing support for the programmes in a consultative capacity. This means that we have supported all aspects of the ICT programme from early ICT Visioning, stakeholder engagement, managed service conceptual debate with schools, through the development of the ICT Output Specification, procurement of the LEP, Financial Close and associated legal contractual support to overseeing the current Service Delivery in the early Wave 2 schools. Added to this has been ICT support for the PCP and the Primary Pilot project - the design and delivery of an exemplary primary school - which is around 3 months from completion.
